I watched a thing on the news a few years back about a jewelry cleaner called http://www.touchofpurple.com/. They claimed it would keep the break dust from sticking to the rims, clean your rings & save The world... So the reporter put it To The test cleaning hes own jewelry and other stuff. It worked well. To test The beak dust they went to a hotshot driver that drove hundreds of miles a day & they used the cleaner on the drivers side of his truck & nothing on the passengers side and came back in a week to see the results. The drivers side still looked clean but did show a very small amount of dust when whipped with cloth. The passenger side was very dirty.

Every time I balance my tires I clean the rims inside and out using this stuff and my rims really do seem to stay clean allot longer and they are easier to clean.
