Brake Dust / Aluminum Wheels

A friend has this problem. He asked how to get it off and how to keep it off.
All I could offer was the sheet metal disk that mounts between the wheel and wheel mounting surface directing the dust back to the center of the vehicle.

Suggestions?

If they are clear coated, clean the wheel real good, then apply wax. Keeping them waxed makes it easier to clean them down the road.

Is there a certain wax that you would use to coat the wheel Nick or would just any one do the job?

If they are clear coated, use the same wax that you would use on your vehicles paint.
