Can someone post a link to the site that had the inexpensive hdmi cable that has the toslink as well still on it. Right now I am using just an hdmi cable to carry both audio and video and would like the video to be ran through the toslink(optical cable)

Oh, ok. I was under the impression you had the 360 with the integrated HDMI. That does work though, I know 2 different people that followed those steps and it worked just fine..

I have the one with integrated hdmi(aka the newest version); however I wanted to run my audio over the toslink cable which has to go through the stock video cable that has the toslink audio output. the hdmi is right under it so I think that mod will work fine.

because i don't want to go:
Xbox360->hdmi cable->receiver->hdmi cable->tv->toslink cable->receiver
when I could simply go
Xbox360->toslink cable->receiver :cool:

Ok, you have a different problem than me thing. I would go:
hmdi-tv-reciever(or speaker)right next to tv
