Decided to ride to work this morning since the bike hadn't moved in a couple or so weeks and it looked to be a good day to ride. Headed out this morning around 7:45am and it was 43° according to Weatherbug. Damn, haven't ridden in this cold of weather in at least a year and never that cold while the sun was up. Typically I would get that sorta temp riding home from work around 10 or 11pm.
Anyway, froze my ass off for 34 miles :(

If it makes you feel better I will be in Colorado next Saturday with an expected high of 25 or so at the ski area :D

I rode to the club last night and it was pretty chilli. By the time we left around 3:30-4am weather was in the low 40s too. It was cold for the first 10 minutes. Once the bike warmed up, I just tucked myself as close as I could to the bike and let the engine heat try to warm me up. I'm a trooper baby!!! :D
Fuckers in Albuquerque were riding in 20 degree weather, so I figure I could do 40ish.....

I went skiing for xmas and weather was 19 degrees in the city and -1 on the mountaintop. Now that's some cold stuff... Check out the wind too!

I left at 5:15am so there was no way I was about to be a trooper about it...I think it was like 36 or 37 degrees

was that you that passed me riding on the shoulder of loop 12 while I'm sitting in a damn car stuck in traffic? was the same bike and looked like your jacket and helmet. Took forever to get through that crap. Some other guy was on a little dual sport lane splitting.

LMAO! Ya that was me LOL! I got tired of sitting there but didn't want to risk splitting lanes like the guy on the dual sport. I saw a couple of guys riding the shoulder so I joined them.

lol. that's what I end up doing all the time when riding home from work down loop 12, but I'm usually riding on the inside shoulder to avoid entrances and exits.

I was thinking about doing exactly that but saw more bikers riding the outside shoulder so I just followed along. I passed a couple of bikers sitting it out in traffic and my clutch hand couldn't take it anymore. Plus my low fuel light came on around Irving Blvd. and I didn't want to push things sitting in traffic idling and not getting anywhere fast.
