Anyone interested in riding around this weekend? I live in Denton and planned on riding through fort worth and dallas.
By the way, I ride casually but you can do what you want. Just fun to ride with others.

Apparently carb passages need to be cleaned out; I had them rebuilt but it still wasn't right and I didn't do anything cuz it got cold. Tried putting some Berryman with the gas and running it but while on that ride apparently the starter solenoid or ignition switch screwed up and the starter would not disengage until the key was turned off so I parked it and haven't touched it since :o

Honda V45 Magna, I think '83. I rode a lot years ago, mostly 2 cycle bikes, and decided to get this and start riding again. Was running pretty good when I first got it. I never worked on multiple carb bikes and it's too much $$$ to put it in the shop right now. Several people have told me this model is known for the passages clogging up and causing low rpm problems. I think the starter problem is a bad solenoid but I haven't even tried to check it out yet.

I just got a new riding jacket and gloves today. Plan to put a couple of riding miles on them sat. I ride with 2 different groups. 1 never sees below 120 mph and the other just cruises (sportsters and vulcans). Not real sure what is happening this weekend.
What do you ride?

I was gonna try to ride my bike around for a little bit today, but then found to shift into first gear from a stop, I'd have to lift up my left leg and put weight on my right, which isn't going to happen yet (broken). :(
