i installed a flip down screen in the van and a dvd player. Everytime i play a dvd i can here something like negative feedback. any ideas of what that maybe? maybe it the cheap ass dvd player?

well, i turned down the treble and its not as loud anymore but you can still here it and it sounds like shit.

Alternator whine is common on video systems. Are you using a wireless FM modulator? If so I recommend that you use the Audiovox FMM100 hardwired FM modulator. We don't have noise issues from it.
