I've always liked Tom Petty but I've never seen one of his concerts. I think I'll have to check that out.

IMO he did a great job on the halftime show. The only thing I didn't like was that they cut out a verse from "Running Down a Dream"

TP is alright but I can't say I liked the halftime show, it bored me. During a great football game the least music I want is some old guy who's probably high singin old songs from the 70's :rolleyes:
Why can't the NFL have some nice Alternative or Rock & Roll performances, get you pumped up for a game. All they ever have now is either country or some old guys perform.
Last halftime show I remember liking was Janet & JT when he showed her boob on TV :p
