Where can I get one? (Besides joining up:p)
Pretty sweet rifle, but I bet its expensive as shit, since the Government is writing the checks...

Looks like a Remington 700 to me.

Most of the shit the govt uses, usually guaranteed civilian application.

Looks just like my 700 PSS but with a few minor options.

Awesome rifle. But I still like a nice (GAP) GA Precision 700.

Apparently you can get them from your Remington dealer.

the standard m24 is not the same as the a2 model....the a2 has a screw on suppressor or thread protector when not using it. Also the scope has a night vision adapter and a detachable magazine. But its basically a Remington 700 PSS like mine

Eh, fuck. I'll probably settle for a .300 Win. Mag. .300 RUM brass is pricey. :(

Very nice. What I didn't understand (and maybe I'm remembering this wrong) is that he said the silencer didn't need to be serviced at all?? Is that correct? I thought silencers had some form of maintenance to them.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too, he said all you need to do is clean the carbon buildup, but he said you didnt need to take it apart to do so?
So can you just spray it down with carb cleaner or something?
