Ok, so we all know that Verizon Jews you on stuff to make it nearly impossible for you to do anything with their phones that will not make them pocket some money. I'm trying to create my own ringtones, and am able to do so and send them to my phone, however, the sound quality is ridiculously horrible. Does anybody know how to correct this? I'm using the .qcp file format and have been fucking around with it for three hours now and am just frustrated beyond belief.

Thanks,
Geof

If you are using songs...

I just edit the song on my comptuer using MPtrim and make it into a 30 second clip then upload it to my phone using the USB cable.

Well, I've got the clip, but Verizon doesn't allow you to upload mp3s because they want their money. I'm convinced that these fuckers are worse that the oil companies.

MPtrim? Is it a software?

In the past, I've uploaded ringtones to my phone as attachments in emails to the phone, and saved the attachment as a ringtone.

I just realized that this is in the wrong forum. Mods, can you move to the proper forum, please?

Use MPTrim to trim down a song into a 30 sec clip, then use http://mgm.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php to send it to your phone for free
