Was wondering if any of you have some recommendations for where I could get an accurate value for a couple of guns that I inherited from my grandfather many years ago. Mostly for my own knowledge, but also insurance purposes.

Easy way to get a real price is check the online auctions sites and see what others are going for.

When a buddy picked up a 1939 Winchester model 74 in 22 short only, there were actually several online up for bid. Pretty rare gun, only made that way in 1939, later years were 22LR.

There are books with prices. But gun prices fluctuate quite a bit.
