I think it could go a long way.
For instance, when they reach earth, what if earth was a space traveling race like the humans from the other 12 colonies, but they don't trust the bsg group, and on top of that, have to battle the cylons as well.
3 different groups who sees the others as an enemy. .. that could go a couple seasons. :)

Yea, but the end of it pissed me off. Tey introduced a really good character in Shaw, but because of the way they did the timeline of the movie Razor, they killed her off.
I think she could have been a good character on the show, and it just goes to show they still have the ability to introduce new characters, and keep the show interested beyond a fourth season.
