I've been looking for a grip for my P99 much like the Hogue grips that slide onto the frame. Hogue doesn't make one directly for the Walther P99, but I know that most of their grips are pretty universal. Before just buying one of those I wanted to keep looking and came across this.
It's a heat shrink grip, just curious if anyone has used these and if they shrink to fit the frame tightly.

Why don't you like the stock grip? Once I changed the back strap on mine it fits really well...

It's not that I don't like the stock grip I just want a little more grip. I've changed out the backstrap on mine and I found the stock one fit my hand the best. But I have naturally sweaty hands so I want just a little extra grip to it.

That makes sense, and I can see it.
Checked the back porch lately? :D

If you just want some extra grip, maybe try some strips of skateboard grip tape...

Exactly what I did on my 45, and it works very well.
Though it won't work as well on these as the finger grips are molded and I don't think the tape would conform as well as the shrink wrap he has pictured...

Another suggestion, use a soldering iron and stipple some of the grip yourself for more grip, maybe do a pattern somehow, or just the raised parts on the walther grip...

Would you post a pic for me of what it looks like on your P95?

Go to a skate shop and get some grip tape. IT's like $10 for more than you will ever use. I've done this on many glocks, and the front strap on sig that i carry daily. It works great!

Those are the ugliest mods ever!
Just bring a hand towel when you go to the range.
