I read that this morning. I can't amagine having to deal with that pain, that has to about the worst thing in the world to go through. My prayers goes out to him and his family.
What really makes it hard is Nhra has ' driver blogs" on there page and I have been reading them for the last few years now. Doug in one of the bloggers and over the last few years reading his blog his kids where a big part of his life. If they weren't at the races with him he was always running them around to scout meetings, spending time with them on the lake and was very involed with their motorcycle racing. He was a lot closer to his kids than most people probaly are. Makes you look at things differently, if have kids spend as much time and get as involed with thier lives as you can. you never know when it will be over

Just horrific! :(

My prayers to the family, and for those two young boys. Too sad.

Thats really sad. Thats really aggressive using a west bound lane to pass when you are on a 4 lane hwy. I made plenty of dumb mistakes when i was 17 too i guess i was just a lil more lucky than they were. RIP

Probably the nicest guy in pro drag racing. His father is chet herbert who was an early innovator in camshaft and lifter technology and he brought roller cam technology to drag racing.
