Military/LEO discount extended to FF/EMS. Pulled this off "GlockTalk.com"

"Thought some of you guys might want to know that GLOCK is now offering its $100 off Military/LE discount to people in EMS/fire/security. I called them at (770) 432-1202 and confirmed it. They said, "Yeah, it falls under Homeland Security". So EMS folk, if you want to buy a GLOCK under this discount, just call GLOCK at the number above, get a list of "GLOCK Law Enforcement Dealers" in your state, and you'll be good to go."

There are about 11 pages of positive feedback on this discount, thought I'd pass it along.

Must haves:
Copy of NR or State cert.
CHL (if you have it)
DL
Vehicle Registration?? (I just pulled it off the site)

The LE price on Glock is very good. The LE prices start at 398.20 for the standard pistols and about 480.70 for the tacticals. They just started the EMS/FR discount. Check out www.GTdist.com and click on the guns and ammo section.
I think you have to purchase the firearms through the Austin location. The only thing that sucks is since you live in TX, you pay tax as well as S&H.

I just bought a Glock 19 from GT in Austin, so this is still valid. They didn't have any in stock (said Glock is behind about 50k guns), but should get it shortly. $431 AFTER taxes compared to $520 BEFORE taxes at Academy (can't pull up Cheaper Than Dirt at work). Glock is the only mfg. to offer this, BTW.
