ok, i need some help guys. the dvd i have is a lil scratched up

i was about 1hour into the movie and it skipped about 2 minutes. last scene i saw is where de niro was at dinner with his friends and then he got up to talk to the girl he met earlier in the movie. they started talking and that's where it stopped playing. the next scene where it started playing had al pacino hugging some black lady, there is a body on the ground covered up.

what did i miss?
