Let's see everyone's home theater setup! I like seeing what other people have done to get ideas. Once I got mine functional I stopped working and started watching. :o
Equipment:
Projector: Panasonic AE2000U
Screen: 106" EluneVision
Receiver: Onkyo 805
Speakers: 2 Polk Audio TC265i and 3 Polk Audio TC65i + an OLD Infinity powered sub.
We plan on painting the room more theater colors, getting a better sub, and getting better seating. I also need to finish trimming out my projector "box" that I cut into the wall. I still have plenty left to do, but here it is in it's current state:
Seating as seen from walking in the door (I know my seating isn't in an ideal spot, but I prefer it pushed back to the wall for everyday viewing):

Still working on mine. I've installed recessed cans and am working on the surround wiring.

Where can you get these now days? I've been looking for one for my nephew. It's getting too expensive to keep replacing his portable dvd players... those things sure aren't kid proof.

Circuit city still carries them. They are usually in the home audio section.

I have componnent cables and HDMI run to the projector. But the media room is just for movies. I have seperate rooms for video/arcade games.

Hadn't seen this thread in a while ... lookin good guys!
For those with black painted ceilings, did it make a big difference? My wife has her heals in the sand about that currently, but one of these days I'm going to do it regardless. :D

It made quite a big difference in our room with the projector. It really darkened the entire room down with the projector on. It's amazing how light your room is with the lights off and the projector with a light scene. The black(actually dark brown) ceiling made a huge difference. The room actually looks pretty good (IMO) with the dark ceiling. We went with some lighter walls just to make it not look so dark and gloomy.

I tried just a flat black at first and it looked good during movies, but like ass any other time. I re-painted the ceiling with a flat charcoal (not so dark) and it looks very good. The ceiling disappears when the lights are off - no more dancing light patterns from the reflected light of the screen. If you do it - prime it first - I didn't and it took alot more paint to cover than it should have.

I closed my post-production studio about a year ago and moved the edit suite home. It's in our family room now.
http://grinnerhester.com/newsuite3.jpg
It feeds a 54" rear projection HDTV as a client monitor and that monitor serves as our family television. I have surround running from a consumer unit but the studio mackie monitors wail.
system is an Avid Adrenaline HD with 2 gigs of Ram, a terabyte of storage Genarts Sapphire plugins, BCC effects and After Effects.
will be for sale next February if there are any editors here who are interested.

This is not mine but I have a similar shaped room and this is what I am working towards. I am also planning a similar bar in the back like this one. I dont care for all the white, but this is pretty close.
