Has anyone seen one of the trailers they make locally ?

I was told they they made them in maybe Cleburne ?
Looked on net, could not find any info ..thought I'd try here

They are basic enclosed trailers I think ?
Or ..anyone have a suggestion of where to buy one within 200 miles from metro
a dealer that will deal a little ?

Thanks

Never heard of Phoenix. Are you looking for enclosed?

Try Texas Trailer Man in Haltom City. Bill Boon is the owner and he is a really nice guy and should work with you. He is one of our new sponsors at the track and I know a lot of people that have gotten a good deal from him.

If you decide to give him a call let him know that the track referred you...may help a little. :D

Yes .. I have spoken to Bill ...looking around for other quotes

Yes, I seen one "Phoenix" and he said they made them just south of Fort Worth
Most likely will buy a Halmark Edge or one similar 28 or 30 foot
and want it loaded with options

I'd travel to Ok City or .. to save some $$

"phoenix" trailers used to be the cadillac's of trailes back in the late 80s to mid 90s. I never knew where they were built but they hold up nice and last.

Look on racing junk.com for deals...most of the trailers on there will sell for a lot less than they are asking.

I bought my 24' enclosed from Texas Trailerman back in 06'...great deal on an economy Cargo Mate. I ended up selling it, took a year, for about $1500 less than it was worth just to be rid of it because there were 40 similar ones for sale at the same price. Glut in the market so to speak.

Also, yes, most all brands are made in Waco at a single plant. Our race director works as a cadd manager down there.

For the most part they are all the same parts and pieces, you just have to find what fits your needs, weight capacity and price...then jump on it!

TTM also has financing setup through Chase if you need it.

wasn't the phoniex trailers all steel? meaning they where alot heavier. I went to there shop back in the early 90's, but that was along time ago.

I bought my 28' tag from Danny's Trailer sales in Levelland, tx. Its out by lubock. He had the best price for what I was looking for. He met me out in Decatur for delevery. THe trailer has been solid so far, but it was just a base model.
