The 1" thick impresses me, but also makes me wonder about the geometry of the TV.
Wonder what they have in place to prevent screen flex and etc.

Grant I'm pretty sure that the plasma matrix is rigid enough to keep flexing down, but yeah, I'd still worry about that

What difference does it make? I'm sure anyone buying one of those won't be hanging it by themselves, and I'm also sure the owner will never physically touch it, even once it's mounted.

none of those large ass plasma's are anything but prototypes. Each Plasma company comes out with a larger one every 6-12 months to see if they can out do each other. The whole premise is geared towards commercial contracts, not consumer products.

I went to the CES show and saw that. It was REALLY fucking big. They had a lot of cool shit there.
