a big +1 to that! i got my mossberg 500 slugster for $130. then bought an 18" smoothbore barrel for $75. and loaded that bitch with winchester 3" 00 15 pellet magnum buck and federal 3" 1 1/4oz rifled HP slugs. a .45 aint got shit on that.

Amen to that not a pistol around comes close to a good ol 12gauge for home defense.

I have always said pistols for home defense are for the squeamish who dont like the sight of blood :)

The last FTW show I went to was TINY! Is this one going to be different? They are advertising that it will be, but maybe it's just a ploy to sucker people into coming.
