View Full Version : Good .22lr ammo?

I for one have never worried about .22lr ammo always just picked up the budget remington of federal box but now im going to take out the ruger and want to shoot 100 yards? Anything academy would sell worth a few extra dollars to get a decent group going at that range?

GreenTag is good if you can find it. Most of the Ely and higher end 22lr shoots alot better than the budget stuff. I always shot Greentag and noticed a huge differance at 100 yards

Try buying a handful of different ones. 22lr is particular on ammo.

I have had problems with hollow point Remington feeding in my 10-22.
