Hey Nick, any tips for removing badging adhesive?
Ill be pulling all the badges off my truck when the weather warms up, just wondering if just standard adhesive removers are ok on the paint?

Heat gun, but be careful. It's all too easy to burn the paint if you aren't paying attention.

To get the adhesive off? I guess just heat it up and whipe it off?
Have you ever used any of the chemicals for removing it?(I dont have a heat gun:o, unless my old lady's hair dryer would give enough heat?)

Heat gun/hair dryer to remove the badge. 3M adhesive remover to remove the resin. The 3M chemical didn't fuck up my paint at all.

try rubbing it off with your finger or thumb, sometimes it comes off pretty easy that way. IF that doesn't work, you can use paint thinner, just be bery bery careful and do not rub on it very hard.

I know, but I didnt want to bug you if its not that bad to do :)
I will be hitting you up on some scuffs though! Had a run in with some brush not to long ago and scuffed up the fender a little bit, might see if you can buff it out

I used fishing line tied to two larger objects to use as handles and used a sawing motion behind them until i was all the way through. Then once the badges came off, I used WD40 and a plastic puddy knife. It took awhile, but left absolutely no marks. I also did it on my rear spoiler which took awhile longer.

Cool, thanks Chris, Ive heard about the fishing line trick, but didnt know if it worked better than a heat gun.
Now I just have to wait for it to warm back up some to try it out. :o

did the fishing line thing and then after that got a little eraser thing that goes on the end of the drill and used it to get al the glue off. after that i waxed my whole truck and looks flawless.

did the same thing and it worked great and cost a whopping $5 max... i cant remember if it was actually goo b gone or not but i know i got it at the vato zone it took me about 10 min to get everything off and cleaned up the way i wanted too. on a side note though be careful if its on an older car because the paint underneath the decal might be a different color (lighter or darker). Good luck!
