I'm disenchanted with both the major parties, especially the Dems.
Went to the Libertarian party site to see what they have to offer this year.
Why do all of the Libertarians running for office look like they are demented?

Aint it the truth? I'm probably closer to a Libertarian than I am Republican. I've never seen a viable Libertarian candidate in any race. Might as well piss in the wind as vote Libertarian.

Got to love Wayne Root. Bookmaker turned President. haha.

Supposedly the movie "Two For The Money" is based loosely on his life.

I wonder when they'll announce Ron Paul as their candidate?

lmao! this is why a lot of libertarians register and run as republicans for office. The good news is that a lot of people who work for the campaign do it for free so that $14,000 can buy some serious community bulletin board ad space at albertsons.

The Libertarian party is a joke. The ideas are good, but the people in that party have no identity. They're so spread across the political spectrum that is has turned what is supposed to be the 'better alternative to politics' in to a giant cluster fuck.

Well that and the fact that a hard core conservative should have libertarian beliefs. Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan were the epitome of conservatism and could have just as easily ran as Libertarians if they didn't really want to get elected.

Yep Reagan said in his memoirs that libertarianism was the core of conservatism. Its a shame how far the party has strayed since the Reagan days.
