Ok I have a Tv that will except hdmi but i can not find a lower priced receiver that will have multiple hdmi inputs and and a out put because my tv only has one hdmi input so my ? is is there a big difference from going to hdmi to the regular hd cables

I didnt notice a difference in the hdmi and component. I did like the compactness of the hdmi.

Just bought some various cables (hdmi,hdmi-dvi,optical,component) from monoprice and the are great. Cant believe they sell them so cheap.

Its easy to believe it. Monster and other cable makers have the most grotesque profit margins on Earth. Monoprice is just making a decent buck for a damn good product.

Component doesn't allow for HDCP. You'll need that to see BluRay in high def.

I looked at Monoprice but couldnt get the website to work a couple days ago so I just hit up the web and found a company selling 6' HDMI cables for cheap. I bought 3 6 foot HDMI cables for 15 bucks shipped. Hopefully they will be decent quality.

We got ours from Amazon.. One HDMI and two optical audio for less than $15.

Well they came in today. VERY nice quality and they work perfectly.
