Very few shows are groundbreaking on their premiere. .. especially when they cut it in half.
Anyone remember the Stargate SG-1 premiere on showtime? Man, that was cheesey ass when you compared it to the movie. . . but it lasted 10 seasons, and two movies being made.

If anything, i want to watch the show, and get ready for the 4rth terminator movie. :)

well from what i saw. it takes place after Terminator 2. The chick terminator is able to mimic human emotions unlike Arnolds version. The T-100 exoskeleton is different than the movie. It was ok. I dont see this going a full season.

in the T3movie sarah conner died in 1997 from lukimeia after the original judgement day was supposed to happen.

IN this show she lived and died in 2005 from cancer and now she instead has timetraveled from 1999 when the first episode of the show started to 2007 in the second episode.




so basiclly they are saying T3 and the events in it never happened.
this pisses me off a bit but i will still wait and see where the writers of this show are going with the story. hopefully its good because i think the story in T3 was top notch and they have big shoes to fill.

I did remember what year she died from T3..but I watched it and it wasn't half bad. Sometimes predictable, like when the Terminator jumped them in the apartment with the dead guys from the future..saw that coming and when John tracked down the EMT guy that his mom was dating..saw that coming too

the weird thing is the movies AND the TV show are done by the same production company and they dont seem to care that the stories are getting all mixed up. do you have any info on part4movie?

God they need to bring that series back.

I'm not bothered by the timeline inconsistency. I'm just used to it thanks to transformers.
If you want to see consistency thrown out of the window, read the tf comics. If you can survive that, you can survive any inconsistency.

Oddly enough, I don't think there will be any inconsistency. Supposedly a new movie will deal with the shit that happens in the future from what I have heard about it.

And I don't think the TV show is going to advance its timeline up enough to take the place of what happened in the third movie.

So I can see the series as a bastardized piece in the middle between the second and third movies. Now, what I can't figure out, is why they would do this? Why not just have the series set in 1999? Makes no sense to move it for no good reason.
