And no, pontiac won't make it; apparently there was some statement already made by pontiac to that effect - the firebird is dead. Which is kind of weird since GM made some statement to the effect that pontiac was going to be remolded into GMs RWD performance division.

Not a bad looking concept, though.

GM did remold it...into the G8 sedan..supposedly the most powerful v8 sedan under 30k..
