This is the first time I have ever tried to put a picture on here, but I wanted to show off our new 35ft scoreboards.

Hopefully you can see the pic.

Very nice. Those old boards was one of my biggest complaints about that track.

it's to bad that the lights aren't farther down, after everything was moved closer to the highway and you have to pit very far down th end of the track, you cant see the lights at all.

We are in the process of taking the old scoreboards and mounting them to the back of the new ones so that people parked past the finish line will be able to see the times. :D

Why not just mount the old ones further down the track? That way, the drivers will be able to see what time they ran and the spectators who are beyond the new boards will be able to see them as well.

We considered it, but due to the nature of the old boards, the angle in which people would be looking at them would make them impossible to read.

As far as the driver's being able to see them, they are mounted at about 1000ft, so drivers have 400ft to see their times. The good news is, we also moved the ET Booth to the return road so drivers can see their times without having to wait until they go get their slip.

Awesome! It's good to see the track is in good hands. I'm sure the improvements will payoff, it sounds like you guys are thinking of many ways to improve. Keep up the good work!

Very clever. You guys are doing a great job making that a really nice track.
