"Duel" w/ Dennis Weaver was Steven Speilberg's first movie and a damned good one,
pitting Weaver and his little 1970-something 6 cyl Dodge Dart against a faceless maniac in a rusty 18 wheel tanker. It was an ABC Movie of the Week back in the early-mid 70's, and way-more ominous and well-done than Maximum Overdrive imo. Speilberg's talent is already obvious throughout Duel.

He'd known that chick for all of like an hour (after he cockblocked and stole her from the preacher man) before he was banging her "like a hero," as she put it.
