A&M should win it, but it's bad karma to talk shit about Joe Paterno. A yell leader for A&M ran his mouth about Joe's age, and forced officials from A&M to apologize for the lack of class. I just hope it doesn't piss Penn State off enough to play like rabid dogs (see Texas vs. Arizona Sate).

If it was possible for them both to lose, it would probably happen. They are both terrible!

If the same A&M offense that played against UT shows up, then I like our chances.

If the boring option run-only Fran offense shows up, then I don't like our chances.

With Fran gone, Koenning will call the plays again. We'll see what happens. :)

Gig 'em.

Did McGee just bust his ass on a 4th down play?

Pretty much what I thought, but A&M played better than I expected. I didn't give us a chance to win this game.

BTW: Joe Pah is a freaking Mascot, not a coach. He looks pathetic.

I didn't watch the game but I just looked at the box score...and damn, did A&M's defense even show up? Looks like Penn State ran the ball with no problems what so ever.

I expected them to do JUST what they did...fucking choke again. Just because Fran is gone didn't mean they had a new play book...same catching up to the game coaching style and I think the coaching staff just sealed their exit packages.

The comment about Lane being an ass is just rediculous. You march the ball 98 fucking yards starting on your own 1 yard line, are sitting 4th and 1 on the 2 and you run the fucking option?! a play that has a 25% success rate with a team that can actually run it. You have a 300lb full back BEGGING for the ball and you don't give it to him?! I think you saw the final product of the current coaching staff's lack of energy and coaching skills. The team was flat and had ZERO drive to put the ball in the end zone when they had the Penn State defense wore the fuck out. I think they gave up somewhere in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

I really hope they fire the entire current coaching staff and put some fucking energy back into their game. Defense was flat, McGee was flat...it almost looked like they all didn't even want to be there. Looked nothing like a bowl game at all...

The funny thing is...Joe Pa has been around for 41 fucking years and you would think that someone along the way would figure out his game plan. There hasn't been much new shit along the way!!!

I made the Lane comment, and he was/is an ass. He acts like a T.O. starter-kit. If McGee doesn't lose his footing, it's not an issue. This game is an example of why folks call A&M a "2nd tier" team. Even though they beat UT two years in a row, their bowl game record is atrocious. Bowl games are what recruits look at...national exposure, if you will.
Penn St. is a mediocre team that is well coached. As much as I despise A&M during the regular season, I was pulling for them last night, for the sake of the Big 12. Maybe if that yell leader had just kept his mouth shut about Paterno...

It's called energy and desire to perform...something that the current A&M coaching staff works to bury and the reason why A&M can never get any momentum in the game. I will be glad to see a new play book next year that isn't a mid 80's Highschool game plan.

I didn't watch the game, I thought A&M would walk all over penn state, so I watched the pats game and the fights. Glad I didn't watch it cause that would have been yet another reason to get mad last nite.

A&M lived up to their 2nd rate college football program label.

Running the option on 4th and 1 from the 2 yard line pretty much sums up the season. In that situation I do one of three things: Give the ball to Lane, give the ball to Alexander, or just let McGee fall over the biggest O-lineman.

Oh well, new coaching staff next year, some solid players coming back (hopefully including Martellus), and a very solid recruiting class. Maybe we'll see an improvement.

You're an idiot if you think that "McGee not falling down..." makes this a non-issue. A&M may have the best short yardage back in the country, and he wasn't even on the field. That's coplete and utter bullshit. I HATE A&M, but I wanted them to win because I like the Big 12 and I hate the Big 10. They needed less than a yard. You don't put in a play that takes you 5 yards backwards before it develops. Hand the ball off or run a sneak behind the biggest lineman. It's that simple.

Oh, and for anyone calling Lane an ass, that guy could play for me any day. Any grown man that cares enough to a) show his emotions, and yes those tears were real, on the sideline because it hurt him to no be in there, and b) is mature enough to walk away from his teammates before he got to the point of yelling/pushing/shoving Jeff Kent/Barry Bonds style is the guy I want on my team. I hope he transfers to Austin. A&M changed coaches, but they may have stepped backwards if this is what you can expect.

I saw how he treated his QB when he missed a block during the season, being a little bitch...like he was on the sideline against Arizona State. It's a character flaw, plain and simple.
Hell, he could play for me anytime! I didn't say he wasn't good...
