xbox360 locks up only on one game

My xbox started lockin up on NFS prostreet in the same spot everytime i try to play. I can navigate a little, and then when i click on race, it jsut freezes. I tried, and other games work fine. i now idea what to do

try to play with the hard drive removed and let me know if that does anything.

its because pro street sucks....it doesnt know if it is a simulation or an arcade...lol....drag racing was the only thing halfway decent.

Possibly a scratch or smudge on the cd?

mine does the same thing with crackdown. i even tried deleting the downloaded content and the saved games files. i haven't hooked up to xbox live since i got it back from the RCOD repair though. i might just need to update it.

I actually havnt.
I think this is happening because i turned the game off accidently while saving.

I can navigate some in the game, but whenever i try to load, or save it locks up. So i tried signing out, and then playing the "race day" which is not a career, more like an aracade mode, and that is fine. looks like i will have to start all over.... fuck

yea, the 360 has that problem. taking out the hard drive will confirms the diagnosis.

if it plays fine, then you need to delete the game save files or format it. you just have a corrupt file. if you want to back up games before formatting, go buy a memory card.
