Just FYI Best Buy in Plano off 75 is expecting a shipment of 25-30 Wii's...they should have them for sale when they open Sundday morning.

I'd recomend that you get there at least 1-2hrs before they open

<--Best Buy employee, they will give out a ticket to each person waiting in line for the number of wii's we have, if you don't get a ticket...you don't get a wii. BTW this sunday all stores open at 8am not normal time so put that into account if you plan on camping. People call all week long asking about freaking wii's and they think we are gonna say something different than "check the ad".

Can anyone saying Best Buy is getting 20-30 this weekend confirm this? My friend is wanting one really bad... and I'll go wait in line with her if we know that the stores are getting some. But when I call them they say they have no idea.

yeah they are because best buy is a fucking bullshit shady company..they arent "GETTING" them in on sunday they are holding them till sunday so that everyone has to line up outside on that one day, hence why they are opening early. After hearing this load of crap i refuse to spend another dollar at that place..atleast every other retailer has the decency to put them out when they arrive (Which is by UPS btw thereby making it fucking impossible to get them in on sunday). This is also why they have "so many" because they stock pile them all week to up their sales because there will be tons of dissapointed people stuck in the store that will end up buying something else. Sorry for the rant it just pisses me off that they would do this crap to make the hype even worse. I think Toys R us did this once already also.

Ur friend is better off just hitting up the local walmart next mon-weds when they get more in..i can tell you the walmart off of collins/randal mill gets them in at 11am-11:45am and its not a problem to get over there and get one once i see the driver so if you show up 20-30 minutes before the shipment its easy to get one...why wait out in the cold for 3-4 hours before best buy opens to buy something at regular cost?


edit: put this into consideration, if you're willing to waste 3-4 hours in the cold why not just buy one for 370-400 on ebay..its only an extra 100-130 vs 4 hours of wasted time and time is money...I have seen brand new ones (that arent featured products) go for 365-380 pretty regularly...id say drop the extra hundred and fuck best buy

Let me know if you get one, if not, I may see if anymore come to my local walmart. Sometimes at these small town walmarts you have a better chance of getting the item you want ;). Plus I won't have to wait out in the cold to get it.

They all have them "in stock" But will hold the stock until sunday. And it's not just best buy that does this,.

Toys R Us is the only other place ive seen do this..Sears/Walmart/Frys/Gamestop/Circuit City/Target all sold them in the AM when they arrived

I doubt you shop at this one, I live about 4 hours from the DFW area (Childress). Plus, I know someone that works there over night, so it makes it pretty easy for me to know when they are put on the shelf. Only bad thing is making a run to Wally World at 1 or 2 am, lol.
