Here's a Mustang that I just finished. I spent about a week with this car in my garage. Lots and lots of work!
Before pictures show a lot of scratches, scrapes, hazy/dull paint and orange peel...

Did they paint that mofo in backyard under a tree on a windy day? Then it looks like they sanded it to buff, but forgot the buffing part.

Depends on how much was sprayed to begin with. Painters should always spray enough clear, expecting a wet sand afterwards.

This won't be the first one I have painted. I just get the shop extremely clean, mist the floor, and seal the car in a big plastic bag, basically.

this job he did was a whole car wet sand job. It needed it bad and nobody likes wet sanding. So with that in mind it did cost some $$$. I'm sure Nick would need to see the car in person before he can estimate on a price. Its up to what the customer wants and what he can do with the car.
He is well worth the money

I am sure he is and I knew just from looking that that job was probably a little more expensive than most. I figured if I knew what it cost that it could not get much worse.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. I've had a lot going on around the business and the house.
I don't like to tell what other people have paid. This car was a little more than a usual buff and polish. Most of the cars you see on here take me about 6-8 hours. This one took about 40 hours  So naturally, it's going to be a little more $$
Take a look at out website's "services" page http://www.nickscustomdetailing.com/index-1.html
This will give you a good starting point for our prices.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call, PM, or post them here.
Thanks,
Nick

This is exactly correct. I always like to see the car, and meet with the customer before giving an exact quote. I like to see the condition of the paint, and talk with the owner to know exactly what their expectations are with the final result.
Some people don't really care about having their paint perfect, they just want the swirls gone. Others demand that their paint be in perfect condition. And sometimes there is no possible way to give them exactly what they want. There are defects in paint that just will not come out with a buff and polish. So I like to meet and go over the entire car to let them know what I can do, and what I can not do.
