lowes does install on the carpet they sell... dont know if that helps.

yea... Lowes wants like $5 a square foot when I can get better carpet for $12 a square yard

I think that is like 4 times more than I want to spend. I can get carpet wholesale now I just need a installer.

I wouldnt say crazy cheap. I used to install carpet for an Apartment complex and was getting 2.25 a yrd. But we also had 14-20 apts a week.

Most stores will pay their installer $3.00 even up to $4.00.

Solo installers would be more to 3.00 and under.
