I don't have one, but from everything I've read over the past - they are slick devices.

I've had one for 2 years now. It's great. I have it setup to an extra DirecTV box and a TV that's only used on Sundays for football. I can watch anything, without interrupting my tivo on the other TVs. I use it in the office, where, I don't have a TV, but I do have an extra computer and 19 inch monitor on my desk. I also use the mobile client on my Treo every now and then to check scores, etc.
Excellent product.

Ya know, I only really thought about using it for external viewing of TV - but you're right it would be really useful for just plain old TV watching in the house. It does not require a special video card or anythign right? Ya just watch it via some type of player?
Can you use Windows MCE or something to record what is seen via slingbox?
Maybe I need to use google and really check this thing out a little better myseslf. hehe
