Just depends on the crowd. Sometimes this meet has a ton of people and good action, other times few people and everyone just hangs out.
come one out, i'm sure the SVT guys will love your stang.

i might.....my car is slow though and i think you will beat me. I have met you i think at this get together before...not too many svo's running around anymore. i have a pewter SS...sounds good but is fantastically slow for what it is!

I went over there and talked to him and asked them not to do it anymore. They were cool about it and stopped. I also had to say something to that knucklehead in the blue hatchback and black pony wheels.
I want everyone to have a good time, but not at the expense of the GTG. If you want to drive agressively, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is a chill gtg, just people hanging out having a good time. Anyone wanting to do stupid stuff that will attract negative attention can find another parking lot. Nuff said :cool:

You had to rev it up to even do that, you spun the tires enough to swing the ass end of the car around a little bit. We have kids that play in that parking lot, people standing around, other people's cars that could be damaged and of course there is always the local police department. Thecops drive through the parking lot, you don't think they don't notice the tire marks in the lot? The tire marks, the noise from your car doing the burnout, trash in the parking lot, it could be anything reason for a cop you tell us to leave and not come back. So it should be ok for you to ruin the GTG tryin to showoff your 200rwhp monster?
Btw,please put some exhaust on that car, it sounds like shit.

I don't understand the idea that you have to do a burnout in the parking lot to be cool. Most the guys that do that are kids who think their cars are fast. Guess what kids we're not impressed, get over it. Come out and bullshit with everybody and have a good time, but leave the kid shit at home.

I think the main cause of the problem is that most of the ones acting like idiots don't even post on the site, they're probably just friends of people from the site. Now that doesn't justify them by anymeans but does fall back on the ones that do post on the site because they know what's not wanted out at the meets.

your probably right on that train of thought. I know there has been more than one time we have pulled a kid off to the side and told him not to do that shit again or he wouldn't be welcome back. I agree with this and have gone with it at every hang out ive been too. But it is like Kryptonite to superman for some. it just doesnt compute.

I have been to this meet before and am inpressed that it has lasted sooooo long. The reason for this is people go out there to hang out and have a good time, talk about cars, bs, etc... not race around the parking lot, littering the place, etc.
Racing is cool, it just needs to be done somewhere else.
