i play racing games, Nitto Legends, LPC(the only 2 games on the PC), GT series, NFS series

This will be a hard one to analogize so I wont even try to put it in car context.


Imagine that you had to have 40 actual players to kill something. You had to organize 40 players in a very hard fight to down a single boss. Imagine now that, due to a game mechanic, ONE person could go in and kill that boss without issue, by himself, saving about 3 minutes worth of time and about 10 minutes of explaining how the fight is actually supposed to go.

Its really hard to explain how epic this was 'back in the day'. Imagine playing a game where the nuclear bomb doesn't exist and is not supposed to exist, but by adjusting actual game mechanics AND NOT HACKING you were able to craft one that was not intended by the creators of the game to ever be put into play.

When you kill shit of this bosses caliber ( at the time ) you would have gotten loot that was supposed to be only for 3 people out of the 40 players that it took to kill him. Since only 3 people got the loot, the loot was obviously of extreme caliber since they dont want everyone to get it.

Well this guy goes in and uses an actual game mechanic to kill this boss in '1' hit, its pretty epic.

Imagine if you were playing NFS online and you found a way to get a nitrous boost for a full two minute whenever you wanted because you found a game mechanic that 'works as intended' and you found a way to make it work as intended but better ;p

Its hard to properly context this because WoW is a time based game where as the majority of the racing games are instant gratification.


Imagine you played a game with a 9 million player base and you caused ALL the servers in the world to be hot fixed because you found out something and used it to your advantage
