So I have heard alot "Well the bible is inaccurate b/c it was passed by word of mouth etc before it was written down"

Let us be clear...this was not people sitting around telling stories the way we know...and I got a first hand experience with this 2 weeks ago at a Jewish Messianic Synagogue.

The Torah was sung...and let me tell you when you hear that is person it is beautiful..chilling...
The Bible wasn't past along in word but rather in music...

Rabbi's were able to memorize and recite the entire Torah in those days....trained there whole life, if they didn't cut they went into a trade.

I can still remember the lyrics to songs from 4-5th grade...and that was stupid Boyz II Men stuff...

IMO...without being to cheezy...
Music is the language of the soul

It is definitely a gift. I am also a guitar player and am very moved by music...it can be rock, metal, classical, anything really. If the right harmonies hit me, it can be overwhelming. BUT, to get to your point. The steps taken to keep the bible accurate through copies was a very rigorous, and often painstaking process...sometimes whole manuscripts were burned if anything was out of place. People didn't take making copies of the very words of God lightly....
