Best pistol for $500.00, I'm having buyers remorse on the Glock32, even though I really do like the out of box accuracy (Glock) and knockdown power of the Sig.357 (not to mention the sound :eek: ) and also the conceal ability of the Glock, thoughts...'H'

Springfield XD - DA, polymer with rail.
S&W M&P - DA, polymer with rail.
Springfield GI hi-cap - SA/DA 13+1.
Glock - more like 550$.

.357 Sig is as good as 9mm or .40S&W.

Quite a few agencies are going with .357 Sig.

May not be a concern, but .357 looks like a nightmare to reload.

I've only seen 125gr bullets for .357 Sig.

A 9mm or .40S&W would have more options and be cheaper.

Quite a few pistols in .357Sig offer a second barrel in .40S&W.

.45ACP is better, if you can handle the recoil.

I am a fan of big, fat, slow bullets for concealed carry. I want them to expand without losing basic construction.

I am not aware of any handgun cartridge that will shoot through body armor.

If Henry can handle the .357 SIG than a .45 ACP should be no problem.

CZ P75 SP-01...got mine for $329 about 9 months ago. Great gun. VERY accurate and VERY reliable. 14 round 9mm mags and feels great if you have thick hands. Also a decent size and weight for CC.

the $399 ones are probably "red boxes". They are sig certified reconditioned but I would buy one without hesitation. My red box 220R has been rock solid.
