So, before t-sips get their jollies off because there's no aggy thread, I guess I need to start a thread here.

Got a legit question for OU fans. Under Bradford’s name at the beginning of the game it said he's a Certified Cherokee Indian. For some reason, I doubt he's the first Cherokee QB at ou, anyone know?

<--- Uncertified Cherokee :D

BTW Fran: It's pretty sad when two SPARE sports broadcasters keep complaining that Lane isn't used enough.

at OU? I am pretty sure he is the first.....unless there is someone waaaaay back in the day. As far as first American Indian at QB, there was a qb for Washington back in the '70's...not sure about before him.

Oh yea, A&M got owned!!!!

I do know that Jim Plunkett ( Native American Indian) played in the NFL for a few teams (Raiders, Niners, etc), and did pretty well over his career.

as far as I know, he is the first at OU to play QB, his dad was a lineman back in the 70's.

sidenote: Venom, Bradford is now 165/239 for 2156 yards, 25 TD's & 5 picks, what were Colt's first year stats again?

oh great, now we are in store for a dissertation on why the teams Texas played that year were much better than the teams OU has played this year. We will also get to see the rankings of each defense with averages of passing ypg, etc...defending how Colt is still the best quarterback in the NCAA.
