i honestly never realized how ignorant he was until after he retired. he always seemed to have his head on straight during the glory years...kinda reminds me of charles barkley.

i honestly never realized how ignorant he was until after he retired. he always seemed to have his head on straight during the glory years...kinda reminds me of charles barkley.

In the late years of his career when he was gaining on the ATR Record, I started to notice his sorriness.

But the difference between Smith and Barkley is that Barkley is funny. Emmitt just sounds like an jack ass idiot.

ESPN made a mistake letting Irvin go . . . I would love to watch Irvin and Keshaun argue about catching the ball.

Ignorant isn't the word. He's just stupid. I really would like an answer as to why he replaced Michael. Michael was a good commentator that knew a lot about the game. He could cover all aspects.

He's too much of a WR appologist, and half the time I think he and which ever Former QB is sitting next to him that week are gonna get into a fist fight. The Wide Reciever never makes a mistake if you ask him, it's always the QB's fault.

Yes you are more correct, grammar is essentially a branch of linguistics that focuses on syntax and morphology. Syntax is not generally expected to be concerned with linguistic prescription as much as it is concerned with the rules governing the actual structure of a sentence. Morphology focuses on form in general. I should have used the term pronounciation versus grammar, thank you. I am so glad I teach History and not English LOL.
