As much as I'd like to see the Broncos win, you have to give Favre credit.
At least the Broncos will get a good draft pick, unless Shanahan trades it away:mad:

Now come on guys, after tonight you all have to finally realize that Brett is still one of the elite qb's in the league...especially playing with the youngest team in the league. 6-1 baby!!!!!!

I bet he'll have a better rating than the 84 they gave him on Madden 07;)

Who would that be? i hope you are not talking about the Cowboys secondary. Denver has the best secondary in the league and Favre bombed on them. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Tough game to watch...what made it even tougher was I had to wake up at 0330 to watch it. Champ was playing with a strained quad and Bly was playing with a shoulder that he separated last week picking off Big Ben. Denver run D is horrid. Selvin Young looked like shit. The holding call on Brandon Marshall when Young had his 40-something yard runn was the catylist (sp?) in Denver losing that game. So many penalties too. Pretty bad game all together. It's hard getting mad losing to a guy like Favre though...same can be said for losing to Peyton Manning.

That's not how I would describe 250 yards and 1 TD in 60 minutes and an 82-yard TD pass in overtime against an injured secondary.

Those stats are misleading. He spread the ball around pretty well. You can bet that's going to be a tough game on the 29th.

He had a man WIDE OPEN in the end zone towards the end, and he got pressured and threw it off the receiver's fingertips, behind him.
The key to taking care of Favre is getting pressure on him and letting (not making) him make those stupid passes he's made 278+ times before.

You know what? The year that Peyton Manning and the Colts don't make it to the playoffs is the year that I walk into a police station, drop my pants and start jacking off.
Maybe people will just mention his name once every 3 minutes instead of every 30 seconds. I think I could possibly deal with that.

Wait until Green Bay plays a tough defense like Dallas? If you look back at the teams they have already beat...at least 3 or 4 of them DO have a better defense than Dallas! That secondary is weak and injury prone. And do you honestly think that Romo's decision making while being blitzed and hurried is any better than that of Favre's? I dont think so. All I have to say is this will be a damn good game.

It's not all about "decision-making" under a blitz. It's about MOVING, and Favre is a sitting duck! That is when Romo makes things happen. It will be a good game. An interesting stat I found: Favre NEVER beat the Cowboys during the '90's! He finally beat them in 2004 (I think). That's quite a drought for the "elite QB of the NFL".

I don't want to hear "Brett Favre" again for a couple of weeks. I don't even want to hear the name "Jay Cutler" again for a couple of weeks. I got so fucking tired of listening to Jaws, Kornholio, and Torico talk about Favre and Cutler all night MOnday that I had to mute the TV for a bit.

I don't know where you got your stats, but they only beat the Pack in the 1995 NFC Championship game. The other two were against S.F. Nice try though, lol. Green Bay isn't called "Titletown, U.S.A." for nothing BTW.

Yeah, he might...until his O line fucks up, and defenses start planting him on his ass, and turn him into the next Aikman or Young....

Actually Henry, record has little to do with how good your D is. You can have a great D and a shitty offense, the result will not be an impressive record. You could argue the Bears of 06, but even their offense exploded at times and they had a solid running game.

as for the packers playing th boys in the 90's argument. I do not remember if it was regular season or playoffs but for a few years there we played greenbay regularly and they could not touch us. I remember after a playoff game that the pacers won (not against cows) the whole crowd was chanting "we want Dallas" very clearly and loudly in unison. I do not know if that is what you were talking about...
anyone else remember this?
