Wasn't a good track day for me. I had traction issues like I have never had before since being on my MT's. I was blowing them away on motor, then half way through first I hit the nitrous and they went to spinning again. One time I waited till 2nd gear to hit the nitrous, damn if it did not spin again.
On a side note, was I the only one that noticed all the shit on the track? I have never seen the track in that condition before.

Good I thought it was me couldnt get better then a 1.70 on ET streets. I kept spinning on the bottle then I launched on motor and spun still and spun when I hit the bottle but still got a new best of 7.69 with no 4th gear 3rd tops out at 90 and I crossed at 90 everytime.

I HAVE NEVER had that big of a problem getting traction.......even on JUST THE MOTOR. I played with tire pressures....changed lanes.....everything.
I can usually run 1.4x in my 60 ft........best I could muster today was a 1.52. One time I had to get completely out of it because I was heading towards the wall on my launch with no traction. Just glad I did not tear anything up.....had fun though. Brooks did an awesome job and it ran very smoothly. :D

I had pretty good traction. Then again, my TBSS is a pig. Best 60' was a 1.80X, and that's on 20inch yokohama tires :) . Well, 30 inch, 20" of that being my wheels. Heh :o

Well looks like i wouldn't have done well at the cruise do to traction issues. I have a HELL of time getting traction on a decently prepped track. Launching at 6k is a little hard to stick.
Too bad i missed it, oh well next spring i'll catch ya'll.

Good to meet Mark, Chris and the guys from Smokin' Performance too. 2.163 was my best 60' of the day, and damn I need to work on reaction time I ran 11 times and best R/T was .290.

Yesterday was the first time to get my car on the track finally!!!! Had a great time and met a lot of nice people.
Nothing better than taking a basically stock 99 GT and looking over and seeing Jyro's car there next to you. I think a little pee came out. :-)
Anyway, I hope to meet more of you in the future!!! Please let me know the next event in Denton as that would be home track area for me.
