you can keep up! even if you don't get up at 3 am for races like I do, they have the single most informative website in all of motorsports.

Anyone remember (probably no one on this list is that old except me) when F1 was here in Dallas, raced down at Fair Park in the heat of a Dallas summer in July? The temporary track buckled under the heat and they swore they would never come back. They made true their promise.
Interesting reading here.

I wish I had been alive for that. Kind of.
I'm really disappointed that I didn't go to Indianapolis this year. I knew that if I didn't go they weren't going to get the contract signed, and shit came up, and waht do you fucking know?
I was going to make it my senior trip next summer, but there goes that.
I'll make it for the German Grand Prix one year though. Lap the Nordschliefe and see the race.

F1 is amazing. I went with my old roommate to Indy a few years ago for the race. Insane! You guys should check out my friends F1 art at www.kevinpaigeart.com He is at the Indy and Canada F1 races.

I went to the last 4 USGP's, and would have gone to the 2k8 as well, too bad that bastard Ecclstone is a greedy douche canoe... Guess I'll hafta go to Canaduh or possibly make up a business trip around one of the European races.

Majority of the practices/qualifying/races are on Speed, every once in a while there will be one on CBS or Fox. CBS & Fox coverage sux because its tape delayed. Speed shows them live even if it's at 2:00 in the morning.

That was a spectacular race!
The start was awesome, Felipe did a great job of getting in front of Lewis and giving Kimi a chance to get ahead.
The second half of the race was very entertaining, although I was happy that "the miracle" happened (Lewis losing so many positions), the way the Williams and BMW drivers were going after each other, I was afraid they were gonna take themselves out and let Lewis creep back up to P5 or better.
Viva la Scuderia, la dolce vita en Rosso... ANDIAMO FERRARI!

For sure. I thought Kimi was going to get around Felipe on the first corver for sure! I can't believe Hammy was battling with Emotardo that early in the race, serves him right to run off there. (rookie mistake).
The last 18 laps of the race I don't think my heart rate went below 150! The whole time the BMW and Williams guys were battling I was thinking please don't take each other out! I had to watch the last 18 laps and the press conference last night after I had calmed down, and it still got my heart rate up! What an awesome race!!!!!!!!!!!1

Nothing unfortunate about it! What really sux is when I'm on a business trip and the damn hotel doesn't have speed and I have to watch the live timing and try and find an international feed on sopcast so I can watch it live.

Oh, I can't wait until next year... DirecTV just launched SPEED on HD
The 4 races that FOX did this year were in HD, and let me tell you... WHAT A DIFFERENCE!

Especially with the shitty format that Europe shoots in, I can't even imagine the difference.

Yeah, the FIA doesn't shoot in HD yet, we'll see if they really do for next year or not...
