Who wants to race a slow LT1 at the cruise

My car is not ready, so I'm bringing my sons 96 LT1 Formula. Since there is no class for slow cars to run in, I'd like to set up and few close races. The only mods are home made cold air, exhaust cut out, UD pulley, and a small stall converter. That bad part is the car has 2:73 gears, so its a turd. Here is a pass my son made 7/28/07, 8:25 pm Redline Raceway.

That was in the cooler night air, dont know if it will do that in the heat of the day. I am going to throw my skinnies on the front, maybe I can sqeeze an 8.89 out it.

So, anybody running close to that time want to line up? I hate to drive an hour and half just to make time trials in a slow car :(

Ok, what do you drive? The Formula is silver and a little beat up, some guy in truck back up about a foot on the hood the other day. Should be easy to spot.

If your friends has a full bolt on car he should at least be in the low 8's.
