I have a green 07 zx-6r with 2100 miles. Im going to be trying to sale it and was wondering what is a fair asking price. It is mod free with just a fender eliminator that I did myself.

I don't no.. but you might want to try and sell it first. Or you could sail it across the pacific and clam it on insurance.

NADA says retail on it would be $7640, or that's what a dealer with that used bike would be asking. Given that they run $8999, you prob can't expect to get more than that $7600 since it's used and new '07's can be had for $7850 right now.

Just sail it on ebay or craigslist, thats how i got rid of my bike. Market determines value so just put it out there.

I wouldn't want to take less than 7K for it, but it all depends on your financial situation.
Bike sales slowed a bit this year after a decade of growth. I don't pay too much attention to the new dealers, but they should have plenty of new left over 07s sitting around that they are willing to deal on.
In my experiences flipping bikes, current year bikes SUCK to try to sell. If you can't offer financing like a dealer can it's a lot harder to move a 7K bike. 4K bikes move all day, but not many people have 7K in cash or financing through their bank pre-arranged.
Good luck!

Depends, if he had gap coverage that would get the loan paid off ;)
I know I know, he could have paid cash or put a big chunk down, but MOST buyers don't do that.

I agree. I wish someone would have told be about Dave Ramsey a few years ago. There would be alot of stupid things I wouldn't have done.
