I am reviewing some web-pages and rather than print them out I would prefer to capture and save screen shots. I've seen people on here do that, but I have no idea how to do it.

Can someone give me directions on how to do that? Please... :D

Print screen and paste it into paint.

If you want to just capture the screen that you are using and not your entire desktop, press Alt-Print Screen, then paste it into paint.

Well if you are viewing a "long" web page, the thing about screen shots is that it only captures what you have on the screen at that moment. I prefer to use something like Adobe Acrobat (or something similar) that you can setup as a printer and print the WHOLE page into a PDF file that you can view elsewhere or later.

If something is on your screen, then you can get a capture of it? Or, can programs block you from doing that? For instance, tests I was taking last year would not let you print them or anything. Now, I'm about to take some online practice tests, is it possible that they could have it blocked so that I couldn't take screen shots to review and study the questions after I take the test?

To save a web page in one file, choose file, save-as. Under file type, choose single page (.mht).

there's no way they can keep you from screen-shotting it on your own computer, but you probably still won't be able to copy/print them.
