ps. the only thing done so far mod wise is the baffles taken out.

I have stock mufflers, I hate the way every after market ones look like, I've yet to find any that are 'stealth' enough for my liking, the stock ones like so clean to me, I've been through 4 different muffler threats on r1-forums trying to find something I like :(

These sound pretty wicked, and out of stock cans. Does it have these or are they just removed???

AnotherRedHead has a shop in between Cedar Hill and Midolothian heading down 67 and he has a dyno. Maybe we can convince him to do a dyno day. I'd like to get mine base lined and maybe adjusted a little for adding a K&N.
BTW, I can't believe you like the look of the stock cans :p

You wanna just go fast or make it perform better? Those cans are kinda thrown together, but they sound decent. You shouldnt need a Y-pipe, just gut the cat, dont waste the money, that piece is already Ti. Velocity stacks paired with a BMC filter actually do some good. PC III will make the biggest difference IMO

The ypipe is only $149 or less. I'd rather have a new solid piece then gutting out and rewelding the current ypipe. Plus I can get these ceramic coated black before i install them. Do you think i should get the A&R Baffle kit, I haven't looked at the cans yet.

The cans on now have the same baffles, just made by D&D, but they arent nearly as loud as a regular D&D pipe. You dont have to cut and re-weld the Y-pipe, it takes a long screwdriver and a hammer to punch out the core, there is a how-to on R1-forum. Its not nearly as much trouble as you may think, I just didnt feel like dropping the coin on a PCIII to fix the map.

I did some more searching, i'm going to get the TiForce full exhaust system, they have cone ends for the cans that make them look very much like stock. Defiantly going to get a base line dyno then with the small mods. As far as what I want out of this bike, I just want it to look nice and to go fast. I'm not interested in track riding ( straight line ), but would eventually like to hit a road course. I mainly just want to have fun while I'm on it, I hope its not too loud after the install.

was gonna say, don't go with the GYTR pipes. they delaminate easily. then you haveto get the clear coat redone on them or they look like ass.

Good, less than full exhaust is a waste, especially if you are going to get/need a power commander and get it tuned.

Ridesmart used to be about $50 cheaper depending on the track/day, but that could have changed.

That bike did 103 on two different Dyno's all stock and 107 after the Power Commander and Slip on. I know I still have the graph someplace.

I'd say enter in level 2, you can always switch up or down depending on your comfort level out there. lap timer is $15 extra, but w/o it there is no way to know if youre doing better or not

so does the LE R1. do you have any idea how those lap timers work built in? you have to time yourself. at the start of a lap you gotta hit the starter switch and each lap you gotta hit the switch again to make a split. very inaccurate. these lap timers are transponders that give lap and split times.
