Car has 373s, mac short headers, H pipe, cat back , K&N, Nitto drag radials, 5115 nitrous kit

Previous best NA was 8.58 80.8.

Made 1 pass NA tonight

Reaction: .512
60ft: 1.87
1/8et: 8.53
1/8mph: 81.24

Then I put the bottle in for the first spray pass. This was the first time I have ever had nitrous on anything.

Reaction .572
60ft: 1.79
1/8et 7.84
1/8mph 89.37

On that pass the bottle was cold since I don't have a warmer and I didnt have a fitting to run my pressure gauge. Anyways in 2nd gear i felt a miss for a fraction of a second I thought. Turns out a plug wire was resting on the tip of a plug not snapped on. Also pretty much topped 3rd out that pass and i need to shift to 4th. Last pass went like this

Reaction: .4395
60ft: 1.81 (4k launch and hit the bottle to soon and it lit them up)
1/8et 7.81
1/8mph 90.96

Shifted to 4th that run and my plug wire was snapped on all the way this time. I think it has more power if I get my bottle pressure up and I'm thinking it has. I would have ran another pass but I had to go to work.

Not bad for what you got in it. We will be praying for 6's on the sauce, Those would be good #'s for a full weight NA car. :D I think you and Rhonda should race when she can get recovered and back to the track.

Bring it out. I'm going to ennis on the 20th on better tires so I can actually take off decent.

Bet that felt worlds better than the 8.5 you ran on motor. I always enjoyed the feeling on the bottle.

Funny thing was I tested it on the street just to make sure it was even going to work and didn't really feel like much. It came to life though on the track.

Damn. And to think you havent even had a chance to dial it in yet. I bet you can get down to the 7.6 range if not better

LMAO. I don't think that's going to work. I was going to pick up some control arms, isolators, and get my boxes welded up.

You could at least get some control arms on yours. I don't think that takes away from driveability. You could look into getting some adjustable front struts so you could have the 50/50 setting on the street, and the 90/10 setting on at the track.

You lazy bum that is not much work at all. Slim can put that crap on for cheap and adjusting the struts takes like 5 seconds.
