Suzuki M109R

I'm thinking about purchasing the above bike. Does anybody on the board own one? How are they? Do they really live up to all the hype?

I have one and love every second im on it. Really cant beat the power for it being a cruiser and obviously alot more comfortable than sport bike out there. Im selling mine here pretty soon and the only reason is cause my dad was in a pretty bad wreck few weeks ago and decided to quit riding and I dont ride with anyone else. But other than that I wouldnt trade the bike for anything else out there.

straight line it's fast. can it handle corners? no.

Go buy a Road Star Warrior or HD Street Rod if you want a performance cruiser.

i have a rs warrior and love it. the m109 in my opinion is a ugly bike, hate shaft drive(besides bmw) and whats up with that headlight. things to think about look what happened to the honda rune........ ugly as sin also and no longer made.

I have a 109 myself (burple rules all colors)

It is an joy to ride. The headlight is a love it or hate it thing. At first I hated it, now does not bother me at all, and it slightly directs the wind blast at speed.

I wanted a warrior until I saw this bike. The warriors water heater muffler and that rear fender turned me off. Prefered the smoother lines of the 109.

go look at the white m109r over at arlington motorsports (www.arlingtonmotorsports.net). it has some ugly ass ostrich seat on it.

m109r is pretty nice.. runs real hard. pretty heavy but really depends on what you're wanting to do with it.. if you want a corner carver the 109 isnt the right bike. personally if i were going to get a new cruiser id be getting the 08 yamaha raider. I work at a motorcycle dealership in austin and i cant wait to see it.

nope. no reviews yet. better performer how? both will only be good for straight line just by the way they're designed. raider looks lighter. The warrior has sportbike suspension, thus handling better.
