Worked fine until 3 or 4 days agin. I haven't installed or done anything different but now my 8525 won't synch with my Vista computer. Haven't tried it with any other computers yet but it's charging fine and I keep getting this stupid error

Other USB devices seem to work just fine, just not my 8525. Any ideas?

Jose, I think you have more computer problems then the forum going down.

jose, removed the device from the device list, or manually install the drivers for the phone.
Sounds like corrupt driver.

For the most part, I pose questions here on DFWStangs from other people I know seeking help. And for the most part I get answers on here. I figured you of all people could have helped with an issue with the 8525. Maybe I should have asked the internet god?

Couldn't find drivers for the 8525 (all I could find were modem drivers) but I posted this over on Howard Forums and after several steps it turned out that removing the Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista and reinstalling it fixed the problem.

Have you considered getting the 8925 yet? Also I hear AT&T is supposed to release WM6 this Friday for the 8525.

I'm considering getting the 8925. I had 3 8525s, and they all crapped out on me...within 30 days!!! luckily. I was able to take them all back and get something else that worked. I have been waiting for the 8925 to come so I can go tinker with it before I buy it. Is it out Jose? I also could have sworn WM6 was already out for the 8525.

The "Tilt" came out last week. Think it's $299 after a $200 rebate (think it's 2 $100 rebates) and another 2 year commitment.
