It's not in full release yet, but 3 theaters are showing it in the Metroplex. Should be in most theaters October 19th. I think it had the potential for greatness, but fell short, with that said, still one of the better movies of the year. Being as it centers around the assassination and events leading up to, it leaves out the early years and picks up I believe 2 years prior to the assassination. Visually appealing with top notch acting, this isn't an all out shoot'em up. It's a bit long but I didn't realize how long it was until it ended.
I knew a bit about the events leading up to Jesse James death, however, I didn't know the full story or any of the events that took place after his death. I'm also glad I didn't google the facts prior to seeing the film as it made it more entertaining not knowing every thing that happened before, during and after. Good film, go see it. I will be adding this to the dvd collection.
